- Can I change or cancel my booking?
The cancellation policy for your booking varies based on the selected room rate.
Non-Refundable Rates: If you opt for the non-refundable rate, it means you're getting a great deal, but do keep in mind that these bookings require full prepayment at the time of booking and cannot be changed or cancelled.
Flexible Rates: With our flexible rates, you have the freedom to pay later, and cancellation is free until 16:00 hours CET one day before your scheduled arrival.
Please note the following important details:
Early Departure: If your plans change, and you leave early, there will be an additional charge for the first night following your departure.
No Show: In the event of a no-show, you will be responsible for the cost of the first overnight stay, and subsequent booked nights will be forfeited.
If you made your booking directly through our website, you have the flexibility to manage your booking online. Simply visit our Change or Cancel Booking page, and all it takes is your email address and booking number (found in the confirmation email) to make adjustments.
Rate Changes: Tweaking your booking? Just be aware that modifications may result in a change to the rate.
- Where can I park?
You can park in the parking garage opposite the hotel. The charges for this are €9.90 per 24 hours.
- Can I pay safely online?
You pay securely with credit card or IDEAL via our secure payment link when making your booking online.
- Is there free Wi-Fi available in the hotel?
Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel
- How late can I have breakfast?
Breakfast on Mondays through Fridays is from 07:00 to 10:00. On Saturdays and Sundays you can have breakfast from 07:30 - 11:00.
- Can I also check out later on Sunday?
For a supplementary charge of €15.00 you can book a Lazy Sunday and you may check out until 17:00
- Where can I park my bike?
You can park your bike in the hotel. There is an indoor parking for your bicycle and charging options for an e-bike. Please enquire about this at our reception.
- As of what age can I book a room?
Eden Hotels has clear conditions for making a reservation and minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking and stay at our hotels without a parent or guardian.
- Is the hotel wheelchair friendly?
All floors in the hotel can be reached via the lift. Ask about the rooms with an adapted bathroom if you are less good at walking.
- May I bring my pet along to the hotel?
Pets are welcome at City Hotel Hengelo. We charge € 15.00 per pet per night.
- What are the check-in and check-out times at City Hotel Hengelo?
Check-in at City Hotel Hengelo is from 15:00, and check-out is until 12:00.
- Can I dine at the hotel?
We do not have our own restaurant, but are surrounded by restaurants with diverse cuisines. We will be pleased to share our dining tips with you.
- What are the costs for breakfast?
Everyday we serve a delicious and honest breakfast, according to the Dutch Cuisine principles. The costs are € 15.00 per person.
- Can I rent a bicycle at City Hotel Hengelo?

- Can I book several rooms at once?
Of course you can. From 10 rooms or more belonging to one group, booked separately or through one group reservation, special group conditions always apply. Please contact the hotel's reservation department to agree on these, so that there are no surprises.
